Big News Of The Week:
The Board of County Commissioners will not attend our next regularly scheduled meeting due to scheduling conflicts. In the Board’s place will be Planning Director Steve Horn. Steve came back to Carroll County after a short stopover in Frederick County. Steve will be available to explain the status of the proposed Finksburg Corridor Plan and address our concerns as to the areas currently part of the Finksburg Planning Area but no longer included in the Finksburg Corridor Plan.
We are now working to reschedule the meeting with the Commissioners for our March General membership meeting on March 27th. Please stay tuned for further details.
Liberty Watershed Celebration: A reaffirmation ceremony will take place Monday, February 24th at 11 a.m at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Eldersburg. Maureen Ackerman will represent FPAC at the ceremony. The ceremony will be held indoors due to the weather.
Trash Time: The next litter pickup is scheduled for April 5, 2003. That’s a Saturday. Everyone should meet in the Roy Rogers parking lot off of Route 91 at 8 a.m.
Dues Times: Membership dues for 2003 are due now- $10 per family.

ü Mark Your Calendar: General Council meetings are the 4th Thursday of the month at the Sandy Mount United Methodist Church. Meetings begin at 7 PM. Board meetings are usually held on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
ü Directions to the Meetings: From the West take Rte 140 East to the intersection at Sandymount Rd. Turn South (right) on Sandymount to the Stop sign. The Church is immediately to your left, straight across from the Stop.
